NODHAUS was created as a home for creative projects that would otherwise sit apart from one another. It develops and releases music, photography, writing, visual pieces and small-run editions, alongside curated material such as playlists and editorial selections.

Its role is less about imposing a recognizable house style and more about providing continuity between different bodies of work. Some appear directly under the NODHAUS name; others have their own titles, character and audience. They may intersect, borrow from one another or remain completely separate. What matters is that each is given enough room to become specific rather than being adjusted to fit a predetermined identity.

The catalogue is built slowly. New material is released when it has reached a point where it belongs in public, not simply to maintain a publishing schedule. Older work remains part of the wider record, allowing the site to function as both a current destination and a history of what has been made.

Attention is given to format as much as subject. A recording, photograph, essay, print or garment creates a different kind of encounter, and the form chosen for a piece is considered part of the work itself. Digital releases may remain digital; others may eventually take on physical form through editions, publications, prints or objects.

The work often moves between cultural history, contemporary technology, built environments, personal experience, music, cinema and material processes. These interests create points of contact between projects without becoming a set of rules that every release has to follow.

Independence means retaining control over what is made, how it is presented and when it is released. Scale matters only when it creates more possibilities for the work. The aim is to grow gradually, adding projects, formats and collaborations when they contribute something meaningful to what already exists.

NODHAUS is intended to remain open-ended: capable of changing as the work changes, without needing to settle into one discipline, scene or commercial category.
